Synopsis
FIRST ACT
The curtain is lifted to the sound of a crowd that is consuming a Portuguese setting. Sugar from multiple nationalities is pouring. A fantastic sun rises and brightens the scene. A beach to the west. We are in a June feast. Music. The sound of the sea is heard. A transparent lifeguard chair to our middle right. On the left, a door that leads to the mall has a fountain of caramelized diamonds that revolves around itself. It is getting warmer, and the music becomes more and more cheerful. A beautiful scene. Petals fall from the spotlight. The introductory section of a piece is being played by the orchestra. An acrylic chorus girl runs along the balustrade as she sings. On the middle left, a roaster frantically tries to find a grain lost in the sand. A marisol (sea and sun) curtain descends from the stage grid. Eight dead smiling but desolate puppies talk about the firework they are watching.
SECOND ACT
The stage is empty. There is a faint smell of anaesthesia. A word is projected: ____. A thick fog invades the scene. There is something wrong with the weather, in fact everyone is a bit under the weather. Something is m____g. Memory fades even without a lobotomy. The rhythm of an opinion is dictated by a chronometer. It makes the queue move forward. No one’s leaving here today, not even ab__nce. No one’s m____g, even though there is something m____g. Something, or someone, seems to have been killed off scene. But still, it is not that thing or that someone that is being m__ed. A body rises through mud. He lacks a costume with various sizes made from multiple textures and colours. He realizes he is accompanied, but we do not know by whom. The stage directions are m_____g.
