
Cátia Tomé

Biography
Creator and performer. Co-founder of the artistic collective SillySeason (2012), where she develops her work focusing in the field of performing arts and its contemporary languages. Cátia Tomé has a degree in Theatre from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC – IPL) and the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA – USP). She also attended the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and the Professional Training Centre for Journalists – Cenjor.
Her collaborative work includes projects such as Day for Night (2014) and Fim da Fita (2014), created by Cão Solteiro and André Godinho for Culturgest (Portugal); BAD TRIP (2014), created by Ana Sampaio e Maia for Kunstfestival Begehungen (Germany); Choro Falso (2012), created by brazilian visual artist Bruno Moreschi for the University of Campinas (Brazil); Ensaio (2012), by Dinis M. Costa and Wrathful love line, like love (2011), by A Tua Prima.
She is regularly cast in Marco A. Laureano’s films and has appeared in television productions. She was a lecturer from 2010 until 2019 and part of the artist development residency MAKE, in Annaghmakerring (Ireland). Cátia Tomé was invited as a guest actress and creator by the Institut Français in Lisbon to be part of the NLE sessions (2019-2020).
Ivo Saraiva
e Silva

Biography
Ivo Saraiva e Silva is one of the founders of the SillySeason theater company, where he is artistic director, director, actor and playwright. He is a PhD candidate in Performing Languages at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where he also earned a master's degree in Communication and the Arts. He has a degree in Drama from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema and completed a professional acting course at Balleteatro. He also started a master's degree in Directing at ESTC. Her work has been presented in Spain, Brazil, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Chile, Germany, Turkey and Belgium. Highlights include collaborations with David Allen, Rui Horta, Filipe La Féria, Jorge Silva Melo, João Pedro Vale and Nuno Alexandre Ferreira, Luiz L. Antunes, Sérgio Diogo Matias, and Teatro Praga, Tercer Abstracto and Escola de Mulheres, among others. He won the prize for best Portuguese short film at the Queer Lisboa 18 Festival with Frei Luís de Sousa (2014).She was part of the evaluation committee for the Projeções festival (2024), promoted by Balleteatro. He has published Castro (2021), Pigmalião (2022) and A Cauda da Europa (2023) by Húmus publishing house, at the invitation of Teatro Nova Europa, as well as four texts by SillySeason in the Livrinos de Teatro dos Artistas Unidos, by Snob Editora.
He collaborated with Ricardo Cabaça on a project to rewrite Homero's Odyssey (2020) and participated as a guest playwright in the DraMITurga project at the MIT Ribadavia Festival in Galicia (2021).He took part in the series Regresso a Ítaca (2023), directed by Ricardo Cabaça for RTP. Since 2024, he has been teaching Acting at ESAP - Escola Superior Artística do Porto, and Acting and Dramaturgy at Balleteatro since 2023. He was invited to direct the final show of the SET Festival 2019, and directed, with Pedro Penim, the latest Maria Matos Teatro Municipal schools project, Hoje é o dia (2018), in collaboration with the D. Filipa de Lencastre Secondary School.From 2012 to 2019, he taught theater in primary and secondary schools. He was a critic for FATAL (2012) and has been writing in the Opinion section of the newspaper Notícias do Tâmega de Amarante and on the CoffeePaste platform.He is the curator of All Tomorrows' Parties, which brings together various artists from different areas, from 2020 to the present.
Ricardo Teixeira

Ricardo Teixeira studied at the Balleteatro Professional School, which he attended from 2006 to 2009, and has a degree in Theatre, specialising in the field of acting, from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC – IPL). He participated in projects such as Oil Ain't All, JR (2010) and Sonho de Uma Noite de Verão (2010), created by Teatro Praga; A Morte de Danton (2012), directed by Jorge Silva Melo and O Aldrabão (2013), staged by João Mota. He was a guest artist and performer in the international project TABUROPA (2014, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Belgium), on which he worked with the director and choreographer Arco Renz.
In the creation field, Ricardo Teixeira staged Ps: I Love You, Lady Macbeth (2011) along with Ivo Saraiva e Silva. In 2012, he co-founded the artistic collective SillySeason, where he currently works as an actor, performer, and artistic director. In 2017, he starred in Al Berto, directed by Vicente Alves do Ó.
He has been teaching Interpretation at the Balleteatro Contemporaneo do Porto Professional School since 2018.
